Hi! Welcome to Tasteduds! Thanks for coming by.

I’m Sheila and I live in Los Angeles, California, the land of flip-flops and Uggs. I share a cozy apartment with my boyfriend who is my trusty consultant in all things geekery as well as my personal food tester. We find comfort in Friday night sushi dinners where we discuss life and the evils of a 9-5.

Tasteduds sprung from the monotony of a full-time office job that I’ve had since the Monday after my college graduation. While the job is all fine and dandy, I find my true happiness somewhere else: in the satisfaction of getting a recipe right on the first try, the excitement of finding a creative design, or the feel-good moment after taking a cool photograph. In the short time I have started this blog, it has already been very fulfilling and so much fun! Although, I must confess. I’m a total comma addict and I apologize in advance. I’m working on it.

Here you will find all sorts of information about my two loves: Food and Design. My Food section will feature recipes and random musings. Design will cover most about fashion and home and anything stylish in between! Sometimes food and design will crossover because we all need both in our lives if you know what’s good for ya.
